There is absolutely no doubt that Tom Brady is not only one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today, but when he is done he could easily be one of the best ever. When he is on there is no one in the league that can stop him except for himself. In 11 full seasons as a starter, in the regular season Brady has not: completed less than 60% of his passes in any season, has only thrown for less than 3,500 yards in his first season as the starter, and his touchdown to interception ratio over that time is a whopping 2.72.
In fact over the last five years in 80 regular season games played he has: completed 66% of his passes, averaged 290 yards; 2.34 touchdowns; and .56 interceptions per game, and has an amazing touchdown to interception ratio of 4.2. And then there is the post season.
In the last five years, over 10 playoff games Tom Terrific has completed a slightly smaller 63% of his passes, he has also averaged fewer yards (273); touchdowns per game (2.2); and interceptions per game (1.3). The most glaring difference to me is that Brady’s touchdown to interception ratio plummets to a paltry 1.69.
I don’t know if it’s because Tom: doesn’t do well under pressure, his teammates play worse, or it is because during the regular season he plays in one of the weakest divisions in the league and in the playoffs he is playing the best defenses in the league every game. There is however, no questioning the fact that Tom Brady over the last five years at least is a much better quarterback in the regular season than he is in the playoffs.
Even though his completion percent is only three points lower and he averages only 17 fewer yards per game; in the stats that matter most: touchdowns per game, interceptions per game, and touchdown to interception ratio Brady is worse in the playoffs. Though some of this can be blamed on the fact that he hasn’t had as good of a team over the last few years, or any semblance of a running game as a quarterback you must take the blame along with the glory.
It is because of this difference in important statistics and his team’s inability to win the Superbowl that in my athletic opinion Tom Brady isn’t as good in the playoffs as everyone believes him to be, if fact he disappears in the playoffs and is a better regular season quarterback.

If Gronk was healthy the last 2 years, maybe things would be different both times
.
Idk Gronk played in the AFC championship and the Superbowl last year and they were lucky to make the Superbowl. In the SB he only had 26 yards and was a non factor.
